This is Tom Daley, a fourteen year old British Olympic swimmer, and is gearing up for the 2010 Olympics. It seems since his return from the Olympics he has been experiencing serious bullying to the point of him not wanting to go to school. This is so sad. My heart goes out for him ... i know how some people will just shrug their shoulders and say "Stick and stones may hurt my bones but words will never hurt me .." kind of thinking. But this can be really heavy stuff for the party being bullied ... this is the world he is in and believe me it can be tough.
I have not been bullied when i was younger, nor did i bully anyone either ... but i know the damage it can do. I hope he gets over this and with the strength in numbers i hope bullying in school stops.

Nadya Suleman the famous "OctoMom" has finally landed a cover on her own (yes, but she is still sharing the high-glossed page with her six babies) without any other celebrity beside her. She has had a lot of publicity but this is the first time she lands herself on the cover without comparing her to Anjelina Jolie. She has with her her six new babies, the remaining two are still in the hospital.
I really don't know whats going on inside her head ... but looking at the picture i don't know how she can cope with all the babies that all rely on her for a good life. I really hope she makes a good mom to her babies ... sigh.

Here is a dark video clip of actor Bayani Agbayani who is out at night who was in a car accident (maybe from a parking mishap) and where the clip showed him very angry at one of the friends of the one he had damaged the car. The one who took the video is the one who had his car dameged i suppose. They were able to get from the actor an easy P6000 for damages of the parts and Bayani was willing in paying up. The one that irked him i think are the comments of the "friend" that really made him mad. Here is an example that money is not really an issue but how you are treated and seen by others .. the video supposedly wants to show Bayani in a bad light ... but after viewing this i think otherwise. He is just reacting to the injectives thrown at him and like a regular person. I feel for him and hope that people don't see the other way around.
Popular Ludy’s peanut butter has joined the list of local peanut butter products contaminated with salmonella, reports said today.
The Bureau of Food and Drugs had earlier ordered the recall of Yummy Sweet and Creamy Peanut Spread with batch numbers 3040905 and 11240810, and expiry dates 90409 and 52409 for salmonella contamination.
Salmonella is a known disease-causing organism. Among the illnesses it can bring are typhoid and paratyphoid fevers, and diarrhea.
If you have this in your kitchen, do not attempt to eat it anymore, you may return it (even opened bottles) and get a full refund. Please report to BFAD if you still see any grocery, store and supermarket still pushing this product. Be safe!
I came across an email of him, an established fashion designer (who i have not heard of in my entire life!) humilitaing a male cashier (who he called "bakla" so many times with intensity) asking him to kneel in front of him and have himself slapped by him! Whatthe???
I don't know him personally, but the video speaks for itself (since the surveillance camera has no sound) watch and be amazed how one human being (this particular one) could do such a thing.

Last March 13, 2009—or Friday the 13th—we went with our Tatay Rey (who just arrived from AbuDhabi as OFW a day before) to Duty Free Philippines Fiesta Mall in Parañaque to shop and point. Or we point and he’ll buy…hehehe:)
While waiting in line at the cashiers to pay our goodies…we saw a customer at the top of his voice berating the cashiers and managers of Duty Free... From what my sister told me, it was about a credit card purchase that the cashier was kindly asking for the irate customer's ID to vouch for the legit owner of the credit card which was also “unsigned”—a normal operating procedure to avoid misuse.
He might have thought a celebrated person like he is with all his accolades and fame had gone unrecognized by this cashier person who was doing the job he was trained to do. Tsktsktsk…
While Store Managers and officers were sought to appease the matter, explaining to him that it is standard operating procedure in credit card safety, not only for the company but also his own. Ignoring this, he pulled out his phone and threatened to call high positioned people whom he allegedly knew, to make these people realize how important he is.. he went on using words like “LECHE KAYO, DI NYO KO KILALA? AKO SI BOYETFAJARDO! AT ITONG P..I.. NA BABAENG ITO, (pointing to a lady officer) AT ANGBAKLANG ITO (pointing to the cashier) AYWALANGKWENTANGMGA TAO! I WANT THEM FIRED!!!
His yelling and berating went on and on, he could not calm down and went on to say, that only if the cashier would kneel down before him and/or allow him to freely slap the persons face, would he get satisfied. AND, you know what happened next...the poor cashier simply gave in, crying in shame. He knelt down and apologized before this self proclaimed GOD….

The Union of Duty Free Philippines have filed a case against him as i write this.
I watched him on the news last night apologizing (if that's what you call it) and making excuses for his actions ... saying he was too tired from a long flight, had not eaten, etc ..... but from where i stand his actions were atrocious and beastly ... i think his apologies (half heartedly said, as he said he too was a victim) will fall on deaf ears ... understandable. Duh!?
I feel for her ...
